CEO DATELINE - AdvaMed to combine conference with California event

The Advanced Medical Technology Association is teaming up with a California association to launch a new conference for the digital medical technology industry.
The newly announced Digital MedTech Conference will combine AdvaMed's Digital MedTech Conference with Biocom's DeviceTech, the groups said in a joint statement. Biocom is an association representing the California life sciences industry.
The groups said the combined event "will highlight the evolving digital medtech landscape and explore trends impacting the industry, all while bringing together key leaders from California and beyond."
"The Digital MedTech Conference is where leading experts, innovators and key decision-makers come together to discuss the critical technology and business issues facing today's digital medtech community," AdvaMed CEO Scott Whitaker said. "Our partnership with Biocom reflects the ways the digital medtech landscape is quickly growing and evolving, all of which will be highlighted during this year's conference discussions and presentations."
The first Digital MedTech Conference will be held May 19-20 in Los Angeles.
